IF you feel like a break from the comedy trail this weekend and would like to drop in on some lively, colourful music, then Ryan's is the place to be on Saturday from 5-7pm as local rockabilly boys TV Jones and the Tomahawks will be tearing it up!
Fresh from their mega-successful Rhythm ‘n’ Roots appearances, the ’Tomahawks are a-rarin’ to go again in this, their rightful home. The boys are in top form after a chaotic and unpredictable year, and it looks like the gears are finally, truly fixed.
This show will feature all the original material the boys intend to put on their forthcoming five-track EP. Tony Tomahawk (guitar attacks), Jimmy Tomahawk (vox and bops), P. Tomahawk (slaps and blows) and Noxy Tomahawk (Mr Bassman) are simple chomping at the collective bit, keen to play it mean.
And to add a bit of extra colour to this special event, they have proclaimed it to be Hawaiian shirt day – so come along and say ‘aloha’ in your finest and loudest shirts and skirts!
Already many people’s favourite live band, TV Jones and the Tomahawks promise a hell-for-leather late afternoon of rockin’ gems at the legendary music court of the great King Arthur. Whadaya waiting for...
