‘Bits, Bites and Pieces’ at club’s cabaret-style performance

Barnstorm’s Adult Theatre Club is presenting “Bits, Bites and Pieces” for two nights next week.

On February 15 and 16, The Barn will be transformed into the intimate setting of a cabaret club where patrons will enjoy wine and nibbles at café-style tables while being entertained. In honour of the week that will be in it, “Bits, Bites and Pieces” will look at love, but more so what happens after the usual “happily ever afters” associated with romances.

Barnstorm’s Adult Theatre Clubs were created to give local amateur actors a chance to develop their skills and become part of Kilkenny’s thriving theatre scene. “Bits, Bites and Pieces” will showcase their talents both on and off the stage. Each actor’s piece is directed by another member of the group, under the guidance of Barnstorm’s Anna Galligan and Philip Hardy.

Members include Joe Nolan, Paul Derby, Ann Daly, Olivia Boyce, Deirdre Dowling, Ann Jones, Tanya Long, Cara Doherty, Caroline O’Hanrahan and Melissa Quirke.

“Bits, Bites and Pieces” will be performed in The Barn, Church Lane, Kilkenny on February 15 and 16 February at 8pm. Tickets cost €10/€8, including a glass of wine, and are available from Barnstorm on 056 7751266 or anna@barnstorm.ie.
