Second encore showing in Coon
After bringing back their production of The Wake in the West for charity this past weekend, Coon’s Kilquan Players are staging the show once more this Sunday night due to demand.
Last weekend’s performance raised €2,400 for the Cathal Fitzpatrick Fund, and there were still people turned away for the production’s fourth sold-out night.
“Kilquan Players had to turn away people on Saturday night and have had phone calls from parties who want to see the play one last time,” said the groups’ chairman, Thomas Brennan. “I must say we were not expecting four full houses so far. So we are having the fifth and final playing of The Wake in the West this Sunday night at 8pm in Coon Hall.”
