Writing course bursary

KILKENNY County Council's Arts Office in partnership with Dingle Writing Courses Ltd is offering a weekend writing course to one practitioner living in Kilkenny.

The aim of the bursary is to assist both established and emerging literary practitioners in giving them an opportunity to work intensively on a writing course alongside others in a unique environment.

The Dingle Writing Course Bursary will facilitate a participant’s professional development while furthering their knowledge and experience in dealing with other professionals involved in the literary world. This year’s courses include ‘Starting to Write’ with Ted Deppe, ‘Poetry’ with Matthew Sweeney, ‘Fiction’ with Michael Harding and ‘Children’s Fiction’ with Kevin Crossley-Holland.
