Strike avoided at Aut Even

AN all-out strike by staff at Aut Even Private Hospital in Kilkenny has been avoided after hospital management and unions reached an agreement.
Mount Carmel Medical Group, which with three private hospitals including Aut Even, Mount Carmel Hospital in Dublin and St. Joseph's Hospital in Sligo confirmed today (Friday)that Aut Even Hospital has reached an agreement with INMO and SIPTU and that the threat of strike action, due to begin on March 22, has been withdrawn.
Agreement has been reached on a number of principles.

Management is pleased that strike action has been averted without inconvenience to patients and has apologises for any uncertainty that may have been caused to patients and their families.
