WORK by Kilkenny-based artist Tunde Toth is featured in a Cork exhibition during April.

Marking the Hungarian presidency of the Council of the European Union, the exhibition, ‘A Journey – Layers and Readings’, is a collection of works in the media of experimental paper art, fibre and combined media mono print.

It is on display at Cork Vision Centre, St Peter’s, North Main Street, Cork until April 26 and will be officially launched on Friday at 6pm by His Excellency Mr Ferenc Jári, Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary, followed by a musical performance by the Bolero Wind Ensemble of the city of Gyor, Hungary. The artist will give a guided tour of the exhibition on April 16 at 2pm.

Tunde is a Hungarian-born artist who has been practicing in Ireland since 1998. She specialises in paper and fibre art, experimental papermaking processes and printmaking.
