Preparations for
annual Little South Run in Kilmacow

Little South Run-The 11th Annual Little South Run will be held in Kilmacow at 2.00pm on Sunday, 10th June. This four mile race, jog and walk is open to everyone and registration will take place in the Community Centre from 12.30pm. Tea and refreshments will be served afterwards.

The run will commence in the Upper Street and go through Narabane, Ullid and Dangan before finishing in the Sports Complex. Motorists are asked to be mindful of the event and to cooperate with the stewards on duty during the race.

Funds raised will be in aid of the Hospice Movement. Sponsorship cards are available from St. Senan’s Athletics Club and from Kilmacow Hospice Support Group.

Knock Summer Festival-The Knock Summer Festival, a day of talks, workshops, music, prayer and reflection will be held on the 28th July. It is aimed at people from age 17 to 30. Telephone 087-6927850 for details.

Eucharistic Congress-The diocesan Statio Orbis tickets will be sent out next week. The Diocese of Ossory has 370 and 40 volunteers booked. The option to book on-line has been extended to 4th June. For booking try www.iec2012.ie/registration.

Kilmacow Lotto-The winning numbers in last week’s lotto were 12, 16, 17 and 20. There were four Match 3 winners. The Jackpot for next Thursday night is €12,600.
