St Mary’s Avenue Residents’ Association: Chairperson Jim Luby; Secretary Patrick Neary; Treasurer Aidan O’Brien. It’s the intention of the committee in connection with Kilkenny Co Co to turn the ring into a small park. To do this all the old tarmac at one side will have to be removed and replaced with grass. The plan is to resurface other areas and the footpath and put in extra seats. This will make the play area safer. To help defray the cost we are asking all residents to subscribe E2 per week for 52 weeks, after which there will be a draw for three prizes which will consist of: 1 E250; 2 E150; 3 E100. Collection will commence on June 8 and 9. If you do not wish to subscribe E2 per week please contact one of the collections beforehand. Collections: Ger Hayde and Jim Luby. Committee: Sean Grace; Ger Hayde; Francis Neary; James Stapleton; James Bourke. Contact Jim Luby 056 8831465; 086 0793498.
