The Lir, National Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College Dublin, which opened last month, is hosting a public question-and-answer session in Waterford today (Wednesday) from 7-9pm.

The Lir, National Academy of Dramatic Art at Trinity College Dublin, which opened last month, is hosting a public question-and-answer session in Waterford today (Wednesday) from 7-9pm.

Presented in partnership with Waterford Youth Arts, the free event will take place in Waterford Youth Arts, The Arch, The Barracks, Barrack Street, Waterford.

Hosted by The Lir’s director Loughlin Deegan and academic director Brian Singleton, the sessions aim to inform budding actors on factors to consider when going for an audition, suitable texts, and information on the courses offered by The Lir.

The Lir is also offering an audition workshop with David Horan on Saturday from 10am to 5pm, for which admission is €60 and places can be booked on 01 896 2559 and info@thelir.ie.
