You can’t beat a good oul pub quiz, there’s usually a few knocking around, always in aid of a good cause.
Tynan’s Bridge House Bar at John’s Bridge is the latest to run one. It takes place next Tuesday from 8.30pm in aid of PAWS animal shelter.
The Mullinahone based charity is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals and helping them to find a forever home. Looking after up to 100 dogs at any one time can be expensive so they need all the funds they can get.
This quiz will cost just €5 a head and they’re hoping for four to a table. Promising great craic for a great cause with prizes galore, it’s a bit of a fun night out, especially if you’re looking for something to do mid-week.
