The Kilkenny Arts Festival is inviting submissions from visual and craft artists for consideration for inclusion in this year’s festival programme in addition to the festival’s curated visual art strand.

Professional artists are invited to submit a comprehensive proposal to be considered for inclusion in this year’s festival programme. Places are limited and full details of the application requirements are at www.kilkennyarts.ie.

Full submissions should be clearly marked “Kilkenny Arts Festival 2012, Open Submissions” and forwarded to Programme Coordinator, Kilkenny Arts Festival, 9/10 Abbey Business Centre, Abbey Street, Kilkenny.

Exhibitions by successful applicants will be included in the festival brochure and website, but applicants will have to secure their own exhibition venue prior to submitting their application. In addition, administrative, financial and organisational support beyond the above listings is not offered as part of these initiatives.

The deadline for submissions is March 30 at 5pm, and the Kilkenny Arts Festival will take place from August 10-19.
