Holistic Health & Psychic Fair- Thomastown Community River Trust (TCRT) are holding a fundraising Holistic Health & Psychic Fair at the Left Bank pub (first floor) in Kilkenny on Saturday 12th May from midday to 6 pm. Entry is free, and featured therapies and readings include Acupuncture, Angel cards, Aromatherapy, Dorn Method, IET, Iridology, Hypnotherapy, Kinesiology, Massage, Psychic Medium, Reflexology, Reiki and Tarot. It promises to be a great day, giving you a chance to meet a wide range of different therapists and readers, and to try out sample treatment sessions for yourself. Many local therapists from Thomastown are taking part. Please come along and support this great cause. Credit Union - National Credit Union GR8 Savers Week will take place from the 7th – 13th May 2012. The aim of the initiative is to encourage young people to develop a savings habit in their local Credit Unions. Soccer - The junior A sides season came to an end on saturday evening when they lost out 4-3 on penalties to Newpark at Dermidus see soccer page for full report. The u13s kept their league hopes alive with a fine 4-1 home win over Freshford. Meanwhile Stevie Norton u12s had a fantastic away cup semi final win over East End with goals coming from Cian McCormack (2), Jamie Holden and Jack Barloe in a 4.1 victory. While in the league they lost out 2.1 away to Southend on Saturday while beating fort Rangers 4.2 at home as they prepare for their cup final class with Lyons of Durrow.

raffle-The schoolboys club are holding a raffle, tickets are €3 each or a book of 4 costing a tenner. With over € 1,000 in prizes, the top prize is €250 + 2 premium tickets for Madonnas concert in the Aviva Stadium in July.
