Muckalee - Great second half comeback by juniors

Junior Hurling- St.Martins played their first  match in the Junior Hurling League against Tullaroan .Played in Muckalee it was the visitors who emerged victorious after a well contested game with never only a point or two between the sides. St. Martins trailed at the brea 1-6 to 1-7.  Martins goal was scored by Pauric Haughney who finished well after a good pass from Tom Morrissey. Brian Byrne was in great shooting form converting frees from all angles . Final score 2-11 to 1-12. League winners - Congratulations to John Mulhall and Thomas Breen on winning National Hurling League medals in Thurles v Cork. John has featured in all the games , Thomas has only recently joined the panel. Well done.

Coon NS - Coon N.S. will hold an open evening this Thursday 10th May from 7pm. A guest speaker will make a presentation on Literacy & Numeracy. There will also be performances by each class, including the choir who will perform their Kilkenny Music Festival winning hymn. All are very welcome.
