THE NUI Maynooth’s Two Roads creative writing group will launch their anthology of new writing, Moths Against Glass at the NUIM campus in St Kieran’s College on December 14.

The group has been working together now for three years, having completed the certificate course in the first year. In Easter this year, the group wrote and presented a show in the Set Theatre in aid of Amber Womens Refuge and The Samaritans.

The anthology features work from all the group’s members, and it is hoped to distribute the book in Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois, Kildare and Tipperary. The book contains short stories, travel writing, novel extracts, memoir pieces and poetry. The course tutors are John MacKenna and Suzanne Power.
