The Carrick on Suir Musical Society would like to acknowledge the enormous effort that Padraig Sheehan has made since the foundation of the Academy.
He was the driving force behind the Academy in it’s early years and was director/producer in later years. His voluntary commitment to this project should be seen as an enormous commitment not only to the musical society but to the town and hinterland of Carrick, to enrich those who participate, our younger generation with the art of theatre performance and production.
Preparations are also been made for this year’s pantominme. If you want to be involved with the musical society for the pantomime there will be holding a launch night in the theatre coffee dock/bar on August 30 at 8pm and all are welcome.
