FORMER Nualas singer Karen Egan will play a one-off gig in The Pembroke Hotel, Kilkenny on Friday.

Karen Egan offers a cocktail of classics from the repertoire of artists such as Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and Edith Piaf, together with original numbers based on relationships including Smoke Me and Why did you Dump Me? from her album Ever Ever.

Egan presents an evening of charismatic characters filled with bold, brassy rhythm and attitude and plenty of comic timing, supported by a jazz band. In a show filled with melody and mischief, Karen promises a night of passion, laughter and endless surprises.
