A ‘bloody night’ in The GB Shaw

One of Shakespeare’s “greatest and bloodiest plays” is set for two nights in Carlow’s GB Shaw Theatre on February 2 and 3 at 8pm.

One of Shakespeare’s “greatest and bloodiest plays” is set for two nights in Carlow’s GB Shaw Theatre on February 2 and 3 at 8pm.

The staging of Macbeth is presented by Second Age Theatre Company and directed by David Horan (Dancing at Lughnasa), whose last production with Second Age was described by The Irish Times as “the best show in town.”

The cast includes Will Irvine as Macbeth and Maeve Fitzgerald (Irish Times Theatre Award winner) as Lady Macbeth.
