A MINI-retrospective exhibition of paintings and drawings by local artist Daithí Ó hUallacháin will be displayed in Langton’s tea rooms on John Street from March 15-30.
The exhibition will be officially launched by Royal Hibernian Academy member Mick O’Dea, with music provided by Mark Anthony McGrath.
The works on display include pieces from throughout his career, including portraits such as hunger-striker Francis Hughes and the “Gibraltar Three.”
They show a progression of portraiture and drawings over the past decades. For instance, the artist explained, “I am constantly trying to develop the quality of the line in my work; that has been my goal for years.”
