MUSICIAN David Kitt will take to the stage on Billy Byrnes on May 18 in what promises to be an eclectic and exciting gig.

Since he took the Irish music scene by storm over a decade over with his album, The Big Romance David has released five albums. He is currently working a new solo record and is also making house music with his brother Robbie

His most recent album, The Nightsaver is the result of two years of late-night experimentation caught in the reverie of writing and recording in a home studio at the top of a winding staircase somewhere along Dublin’s Grand Canal.

Since mid-2007, David has been making house music with his brother, Robbie under the pseudonym Spilly Walker. He has also been a member of Tindersticks since their 2010 “Falling Down a Mountain” album and tour. Last year he celebrated the 10 year anniversary of The Big Romance with a performance (to a full house) in Dublin’s Vicar Street.

The gig will take place on May 18 and admission is €10.
