THE Kilkenny choir will perform Luigi Cherubini’s wonderful Coronation Mass in G with full symphony orchestra and also short works by Haydn and Brahms at St Canice’s Cathedral this Sunday.

The main part of the concert will be a spectacular Cherubini work, rarely (if ever) performed in Ireland. It is a Coronation Mass and is performed with full symphony orchestra. Luigi Cherubini was an Italian composer whom Beethoven regarded as the greatest of his contemporaries. The concert, which is conducted by Philop Edmondson will commence at 8pm. Tickets are available at the door.
