Energia drives energy costs down for JJ Kavanagh & Sons Coaches

JJ Kavanagh & Sons, Ireland’s largest privately owned coach company, has signed a major new electricity deal with competitive energy supplier Energia.

The new energy deal will see Energia provide power to JJ Kavanagh & Sons’ five depots around the country in Urlingford, Kilkenny; Carlow; Nenagh; Waterford and Dublin. This will see the company avail of the most competitive market rates from Energia.

Established in 1919, J.J. Kavanagh & Sons is 100% Irish owned and has developed from being one of the first private providers of public transport, into the largest privately owned coach company in Ireland today.

The new scheme is open to all businesses, whether or not they are customers of Energia.”

As well as benefiting from the generous funding, businesses will also make very significant ongoing savings through the energy efficiency projects. For example:

· Lighting: LED and high efficiency lighting can typically reduce your lighting costs by up to 75%

· Heating: a new boiler or heating controls can save over 25% of your annual fuel costs

· Refrigeration: new systems can reduce your costs by up to 30%

Energia has a 23% market share of the Irish business electricity and gas market supplying the energy needs of over 60,000 business customers.

Energia is also powering Irish homes nationwide in the residential electricity and gas market. Energia’s great new dual fuel offer will guarantee consumers savings of up to 15% off standard unit rates.
