The late Ellen (Nell) Corrigan (née Norman)

The death has occurred of Ellen (Nell) Corrigan (née Norman), Garryricken, Callan, Kilkenny.
Ellen (Nell) Corrigan (nee Norman), Garryricken, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny on Saturday, 22nd April 2017. Wife of the late Seamus and mother of the late Tom. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing family, son John, daughter-in-law Lilly, grandchildren Mitch, Seamus, Ellen and JJ, great-grandchildren Ryan, James and Emily Mai, sister Jo, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Nell will be reposing at her son John's residence, Garyricken on Monday with Funeral Prayers at 7pm, followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan. Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan. Rosary on Sunday evening at 9pm at her son John's residence. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to the RNLI, (Royal Naval Lifeboat Institution). Thank you.

The late Maura Whyte

The death has occurred of Maura Whyte, Dangan, Kilmacow, Kilkenny / Waterford City, Waterford.
Maura Whyte, Dangan, Kilmacow, Co Kilkenny and late of the County and City Infirmary Waterford, who died on Sunday, 23rd April. Peacefully at University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her brother Tom. Maura will be sadly missed by her loving sisters Patrica (Blanchfield), Josephine (Hennessey) and Breda (Costello), sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours, family and friends.Reposing in Powers Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Monday, 24th April, from 5:00pm followed by removal at 7.00pm to St. Senan’s Church, Kilmacow. Requiem Mass on Tuesday 25th at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Bridget Comerford (née O'Dea)

The death has occurred of Bridget Comerford (née O'Dea), 56 Newpark, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny.
Comerford (nee O'Dea) (56 Newpark, Kilkenny) 22nd April 2017, peacefully, at home and in the loving care of her family, Bridget, pre-deceased by her husband Michael and sister Peggy (Lennon), much loved mother of Michael, John, Elizabeth, Thomas, Kathleen, Paul and Michelle, sadly missed by her loving family, sister Ellen, brothers Tommy, Jackie and Anthony, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. 

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home from 4 o'clock on Monday with Funeral Prayers at 6.15 o'clock, followed by removal to St. John's Church. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 10.30 o'clock. The late Michael (Mikie) Griffen

The death has occurred of Michael (Mikie) Griffen, 26 Fairview, Graignamanagh, Kilkenny.
The death has taken place of Mikie Griffin 26 Fairview, Graignamanagh Co Kilkenny. Mikie died peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, in his 98th year. Deeply regretted by his loving family and many friends. Reposing at Walsh's funeral home, Tinnahinch, Graignamanagh, from 2pm tomorrow, Sunday, until 9pm. Rosary at 8pm Sunday evening. Removal at 1.40pm on Monday to Duiske Abbey, Graignamanagh, for 2pm Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.

The late Ann Hoare (née Kearney)

The death has occurred of Ann Hoare (née Kearney), 3 Woodlands Estate, Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny.
Ann Hoare (nee Kearney) 3 Woodlands Estate, Graiguenamanagh, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Thomastown. Died 21st April, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Eamon and loving mother of Yvonne, Eamon and Imelda. Sadly missed by her husband, daughters, son and adored grandchildren Caoimhe and Tom, family, neighbours and friends. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at her home from 2.00pm Sunday 23rd, removal to Duiske Abbey Monday 24th for 11.00am Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Michaels Cemetery, Tinnahinch.

The death has occurred of David O'Neill, 37 Beechlawns, Johnswell Road, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny / Thomastown, Kilkenny.
O'Neill (37 Beechlawns, Johnswell Road, Kilkenny and formerly of Castle Avenue, Thomastown) 22nd April 2017, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, David, beloved husband of Teresa and much loved father of Amanda and Faith, sadly missed by his wife and daughters, Amanda's partner Andrew, parents Pat and Peg, brothers John, Patrick, Paul and Dermot, sisters Ann, Ellen, Margaret, Caroline and Pamela, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and his colleagues in the Defence Forces.

Reposing at his home from 4 o'clock on Sunday with Rosary at 7.30 o'clock. Funeral Prayers on Monday morning at 9.30 o'clock followed by removal to St. John's Church, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. Kilkenny) 21st April 2017, peacefully, in the loving care of Anna and the staff at Archersrath Nursing Home, Kilkenny, John, beloved husband of the late Sheila and father of the late Mary, sadly missed by his loving daughter Anne, sons-in-law Sam (McCurdy) and Richard (Doheny), grandsons Aidan, Ronan and John, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Sunday in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny with Rosary on Sunday evening at 6.30 o'clock. Funeral Prayers on Monday morning at 9.30 o'clock followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Galmoy, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late James (Jimmy) Knox

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Knox, Ballygown, Piltown, Kilkenny.
Peacefully, after a long illness, bravely borne, surrounded by his loving wife Margaret and his beloved children Seamus, Mary Bernadette, Liam, Helena, Mairead and David sons-in-law and daughters-in-law Neil, Louise, Aine, John, Martin and adoring grandchildren. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family including his sisters Mary and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces,nephews extended family and large circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his family home in Ballygown on Saturday (April 22nd) from 2 o'clock to 8 o'clock. Private removal on Sunday (April 23rd) to The Church of the Assumption, Templeorum, for requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Maura O'Dwyer nee Walsh, Ardkeen Village, Dunmore Road, Waterford and late of Drumdowney, Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny, who died on Friday 21st April. Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her son John, Maura will be sadly missed by her husband Tom, son Billy, daughter Marie (Keogh), son-in-law Tim, daughter-in-law Rachel, grandchildren, David, Sean and Mark, brother John, sisters Anne and Eileen nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at her home on Saturday, 22nd April, from 3pm until 8pm, Removal on Sunday, 23rd April, to the Church of the Assumption, Slieverue arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
