For the sixth year running Croke Park will play host tomorrow and Thursday to over 2500 young under-8 hurlers and footballers as part of the Leinster GAA Go Games Croke Park Activity Days.

Over 150 clubs will be represented from around the province. Over the last six years every club in the province will have had the unique opportunity of playing on the famous turf and this year many will be returning for the second time.

With six Go Games pitches lined out Croke Park will be a hive of activity accommodating over 120 children per hour. The unforgettable experience includes preparing for the games in the dressing rooms and is capped off with each team lifting a cup at the presentation area in the Hogan Stand.

The activities starts at 9am on both days and concludes at 5pm. An added feature on Thursday (April 4) at 5pm will see the arrival of 22 families selected to attend by Barrettstown.

For the last three years Leinster GAA, in association with Barrettstown, have been able to invite a number of families to take part in the Leinster GAA under-8 Croke Park Activity Days.
