Carrickshock plundered the goals as they dished out a good hammering to limited Graigue-Ballycallan in the Kilkenny senior hurling league in Bennettsbridge this evening.

Carrickshock plundered the goals as they dished out a good hammering to limited Graigue-Ballycallan in the Kilkenny senior hurling league in Bennettsbridge this evening.

The game was over at half-time when the winners led by 5-7 to 0-6. Scoring hero for Carrickshock during that half was Brian Donovan, who helped himself to 2-3. Richie Power (free) and Mark O’Dweyr (2) also got among the goals.

The result throws Carrickshock back into the shake-up for a place in the league final, while Graigue now face a battle against relegation down to the intermediate division.
