Kilkenny under-21 player, David Burke, helped himself to 1-4 during the second half when O’Loughlin Geals proved too good for Dicksboro in the city derby in the senior hurling league on Saturday.
The winners led by 1-8 to 0-6 at the break, with Mark Kelly’s 15th minute goal the main difference between the teams. Burke claimed his first score, a point, within seconds of the restart and by the end of the game he had inflicted a lot of hurt on the ’Boro as the St John’s Park side won by 2-15 to 0-13.
