The wind backed losers were flying at the start and led by 0-11 to 0-3 after 17 minutes. The ’Shock pulled back a bit of ground and trailed by 0-5 to 0-11 at the break.

Two second half goals from John Power, one from a penalty and the other from a free, played a big part as Carrickshock registered their first win.
