Brian Cody’s side will travel to Pairc Ui Rinn to play the Rebels on Saturday, April 25. The match is being held to raise money for the Friends of Jamie Wall fund.

Wall, a promising dual hurling and Gaelic football star, saw his world turned upside down last Summer when he was rushed to hospital with an epidural abscess on his spine. The abscess has rendered Wall paralysed from the midriff down.

Since then Wall has engaged in rehabilitative therapies in Beaumont hospital and the NRH in Dún Laoghaire. All funds are lodged to the trust fund bank account. The purpose of the fund is to support Jamie’s ongoing rehabilitation and his goal of living a full and independent life.

The April 25 match between two of hurling’s oldest rivals will throw in at 7pm. Ticket prices are €10 for adults and €5 for under-16s (no concessions). Tickets can be purchased in advance on www.tickets.ie or through Super Valu and Centra stores in Munster. They can also be purchased at the turnstiles on the day.
