It is that time of the year again! The Kilkenny GAA Yearbook has hit the shelves of all good bookshops and newsagents in the area.
The Yearbook committee, under the stewardship of Pat Henderson and direction of Gerry O’Neill, have again - 23rd edition - produced an excellent record of the GAA activities of every club, every segment of the ’Association in the 208 page gem.
There is no cigar this year when we talk about inter-county achievement, nevertheless, this publication serves most of the record requirements for its present membership, and as usual will furnish bona fide records for posterity.
That is probably its most important function, and it that regard, it most definitely hits the spot. It sells as usual at €12.50.
The Yearbook always makes a good stocking filler, and there is no reason why it will not serve the same purpose this Festive Season.
