Ballyhale Shamrocks were in cruised mode when they dished out a bad 4-13 to 2-10 beating to Dicksboro in the opening round of the senior hurling league in Hugginstown.

Ballyhale Shamrocks were in cruised mode when they dished out a bad 4-13 to 2-10 beating to Dicksboro in the opening round of the senior hurling league in Hugginstown.

The winners were in inspired by a brilliant performance from Kilkenny captain, Colin Fennelly. They led by 3-7 to 1-7 at half-time after playing with the wind. Victory was final put beyond all doubt by a goal from Colin Fennelly in the 57th minute.
