Gowran Park has announced a new and exciting partnership with the world famous Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival for 2016. This will incorporate the best of the comedy world with a full seven race card on Monday June 6t.
Eddie Scally, General Manager of Gowran Park, speaking at the track last Sunday said: “I am delighted that Horse Racing Ireland has supported this new initiative by providing us with a race meeting to coincide with the 2016 Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival. With the expected usual influx of tourists to the city for the festival on the June Bank Holiday weekend we are expecting a bumper crowd to enjoy a feast of racing and comedy at our track on the Monday. We, like all tracks are constantly trying to improve the offering to our racing public and I feel this will offer both exceptional value for money and a brilliant family day out.”
