The final of the English Greyhound Derby is on Saturday night at Wimbledon with four out of the six finalists trained in Ireland with local handler, Paul Hennessy from Paulstown in with a great chance.
The greyhound training equivalent to Willie Mullins, Hennessy trains the favourite Jaytee Jet who is 6/4 to win from Trap 6.
The winner looks set to come from Ireland with 1/6 the short price that the winner will be trained here whilst it’s 4/1 for the prize money to stay in England.
BoyleSports has priced up a market on which of the four Irish dogs will perform the best with Jaytee Jet currently heading the market at 11/8.
