The late Nuala Kehoe (nee Sheridan)

The death has taken place of Nuala Kehoe (nee Sheridan), New Ross, Wexford / New Ross, Kilkenny on October 13, 2016  in her 91st year in the care of the Millhouse Care Centre, beloved wife of the late Dr. Charlie; deeply regretted by her loving family, sons Barry, Colin, Ronan, Niall and Derek, daughters Valerie (Birch) and Norma (Walsh), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home, The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross from 4pm  Friday, October 14th, with rosary at 8pm. Removal will take place at 11.45 am on Saturday, October15th, to The Church of The Assumption, Rosbercon for 12 noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

The late Mai Reddy

The death has taken place of Mai Reddy, Rahard, Mullinavat, Co. Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her loving brothers Patrick, Edward and Thomas, sisters Margaret and Theresa, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday from 12 noon with prayers at 8.00pm. Removal on Thursday to St. Beacon's Church, Mullinavat for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial after in adjoining cemetery. House private on Thursday morning please.

The late Maura Byrne

The death has taken place of Maura Byrne, 5 Cathedral Square, Kilkenny and formerly of Carrickmourne, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, peacefully at St Columba's, Hospital, Thomastown. Deeply regretted by her brothers Eamon and Pat, sisters Theresa and Alice and aunt Alice, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at St Columba's Hospital, Thomastown from 4pm on Tuesday with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown. Requeim Mass at 11am on Wednesday followed by burial in St Mary's New Cemetery, Thomastown. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Friends of St Columba's.

 

The late Gerard (Gerry) Landers

The death has taken place of Gerard (Gerry) Landers,  (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Greenfields, Co. Kilkenny) October 10th, 2016 (peacefully) at home surrounded by his family after a long illness bravely borne, Gerard (Gerry), loved always by his wife Colette and daughters Amy and Kellie. Gerry will be sadly missed by his family, mother Breda, brothers Noel (Stan) and Des, relatives, extended family and friends.

Removal to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Laurel Lodge this Thursday morning (13 October) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’c followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.

House Private please. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown or the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association.

 

The late Mary Laurence

The death has taken place of Mary Laurence, (Mount Carmel Care Of The Elderly, Prologue, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and late of Rath, Clogh, Danesfort, Co. Kilkenny) October 10th 2016 (unexpectedly) at Waterford Regional Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home from 5pm on Tuesday with Funeral prayers at 6.30pm, followed by removal to St. Michael's Church, Danesfort. Funeral on Wednesday, after 11am Requiem Mass, to the adjoining cemetery.

 

The late Andy McCarthy

The death has taken place of Andy McCarthy, Harristown, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny.

Reposing at Walsh’s Funeral Home, Carrick on Suir on Tuesday evening from 5pm with removal at 7pm to Templeorum Church. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. No flowers please – donations to the Irish Heart Foundation.

 

 

The late Kathleen McKenna (nee O’Neill)

The death has taken place of Kathleen McKenna (nee O’Neill),  Ballyhale, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Springbank, Saggart, Co. Dublin, on October 9, 2016. Sadly missed by her husband Gerard, daughter Sinead, son-in-law Denis, grandchildren Daniel and Katie, brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Murphy Brothers Funeral Home, Naas from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday to the Church of The Blessed Virgin Mary for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Saggart Cemetery.

 

 

 

The late Margery Brady (nee O’Leary)

The death has taken place of Margery brady (nee O’Leary), Greenshill, Kilkenny on 9th October 2016, in the excellent care of the staff at Killure Bridge Nursing Home, Waterford. Pre-deceased by her husband Liam. Sadly missed by her sons Billy and Maurice, sister Winifred (Sister Marie Bernadette), daughter-in-law Tanya, Billy's partner Helen, grandchildren Caoilinn and Finn, relatives and friends. 

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home on Tuesday (11th October) from 5pm with Funeral Prayers at 6.30pm followed by removal to St. Canice's Church. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Foulkstown Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu, to the Alzheimers Society of Ireland.

The late Ned Power

The death has taken place of Ned Power, Gahan House, Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny / New Ross, Kilkenny.  Ned, loving son of the late Paddy and Katie, brother of the late Jim and Jack. Deeply regretted by his loving family brother Michael, sister-in-law Colette, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at his niece Catherine Cummin's residence in Brownstown from 2pm on Monday, 10 October, with rosary at 8pm. Funeral to arrive at St David's Church, Mullinarrigle for 12 noon Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 11th October, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Margaret (Peggy) Power (nee Cashin)

The death has taken place of Margaret (Peggy) Power (nee Cashin), Shanbough, New Ross, Kilkenny on October 9, Margaret (Peggy) in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Tommy. Deeply regretted by her loving family daughters Margo Cullinane (Shanbogh), Liz Carey (Thomastown), Lucy Power (Gorey), Tessy Kehoe (Heatpark), sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, relatives, neighbors and friends. Reposing at her residence from 2pm  , Monday 10th October, with removal at 7pm to The Church of The Assumption, Rosbercon. Requiem Mass will take place at 3pm on Tuesday 11th October, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

The late Owen Salmon

The death has taken place of  Owen Salmon, Upper Cloneen, Crettyard, Via Carlow, Co. Kilkenny & formerly Swinford, Co. Mayo / Leicester, England. Peacefully at Home. Pre-deceased by his wife Joan and son Tom.

Sadly missed by his son Sean, daughter Bernadette Buggy, son-in-law Martin, Sean's partner Breda, grandchildren Nichola, Saragh, Eoghan and Siobhán. His brothers Pat (Leeds, England) and Michael (Listowel, Co. Kerry), sister, Sr. Mary (L.S.A.) Little Sisters of the Assumption, Cork and niece Mary Salmon, Cork, cousins, sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer from 12 noon on Monday. Vigil Prayers and Rosary on Monday evening at 9pm. Funeral Prayers on Tuesday evening at 7pm followed by removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Moneenroe. Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

 

The late Mary (Moll) Ryan

The death has taken place of Mary (Moll) Ryan (nee Roche), Prologue, Callan peacefully at Tinnypark Nursing Home, Kilkenny, formerly of Mount Carmel, Prologue, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Pre - deceased by her husband William. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Teresa, son in law Tony, grandson Jason, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, family and friends. . Removal on Monday morning following prayers at 10.30am to Church of the Assumption, Callan, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Cremation willl take place at a later date. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Tinnypark Nursing Home or Mount Carmel Home.
