The late Bridget (Bridie) Cleere (née Dunphy)

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) Cleere (née Dunphy), Galmoy, Kilkenny.

Cleere nee Dunphy, Galmoy, Co. Kilkenny. November 16th 2016, peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Bridget (Bridie) predeceased by her husband Jack. Deeply regretted by her sister Nan, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home on Thursday with funeral prayers at 6.30pm followed by removal at 7pm to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Galmoy arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The late Angela Hennessy

The death has occurred of Angela Hennessy (née Callanan), Lower Bridge Street, Callan, Kilkenny / Killorglin, Kerry.

Angela Hennessy (nee Callanan) Lower Bridge Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and native of Killorglin, Co. Kerry, November 15th 2016 (peacefully) with her loving sister Mary Mangan by her side, in the loving care of the staff of Glendale Nursing Home, Tullow, Co. Carlow. Predeceased by her husband Fintan Hennessy and recently deceased brother Patrick Callanan of Killorglin, Co. Kerry. Sadly missed by her loving sister Mary, her nieces Siobhan, Michelle, Elaine, nephew Evan, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Sunhill, Killorglin, Co. Kerry, from 2pm to 5pm on Saturday 19th November for family and friends. Funeral Mass to take place in the Chuch of the Assumption, Callan, Co. Kilkenny at 1pm on Sunday 20th November, followed by burial in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Family flowers only, please.

The late Bernard (Peter) Kelly

The death has occurred of Bernard (Peter) Kelly, Borrismore, Urlingford, Kilkenny.
Peacefully in the loving care of nurses and staff at St. Catherine's Nursing Home, Freshford. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, daughters Shirley, Sheila and Olive, sons-in-law Mark, Brendan and Stephen, grandchildren Aimee and Isla, brother Fr . Thomas (USA) and Mary (Gallagher), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Doyle's Funeral Home, Urlingford on Thursday evening from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford arriving at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am followed by burial in Johnstown Cemetery. House private please.

The death has occurred of Ivor McGoff, Granges Road, Kilkenny.
Peacefully at his home. Beloved husband of Catherine and much loved father of Terence and Niamh. He will be sadly missed by his wife, son, daughter, son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Catherine, grandson Conor, granddaughters Abby and Lucie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The late Delia Hayden

The death has occurred of Delia Hayden (née Dunne), Bothar na Tounish Road, Loughboy, Kilkenny / Ballycallan, Kilkenny.

The death has taken place of Mrs. Delia Hayden (nee Dunne), 81 Gleeve Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, UK and late of Bothar na Tounish Road, Loughboy, Kilkenny. Delia died on Monday 14th November after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved sister of Anna Comerford, Ballycallan and the late Des Dunne, Loughboy. Deeply regretted by her devoted children Tony, Alan, Marion and Ian, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sister Anna, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral will take place in Birmingham, England at a later date. Arrangements to follow.

The late Jim Tobin

The death has occurred of Jim Tobin, Priory Lawn, Ballybeg, Waterford / Mooncoin, Kilkenny.
Formerly of Main Street, Mooncoin, County Kilkenny. Husband of the late Margaret and father of the late Johnny and brother of the late Michael. Reposing at Donnacha Doyle & Son's Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow on Wednesday from 3pm, with prayers at 7pm. Arriving on Thursday at the Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial after in the Old Cemetery, Mooncoin.

The late Dorcas Carter (nee Leahy)

The death has occurred of Dorcas Carter (née Leahy), Smithstown House, Castlecomer, Kilkenny.
Peacefully, in the tender loving care of her family. Wife of the late Eric. Loving mother of Andrew, Heather and Ronald. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, brother, nieces, nephews, family circle and friends.

Funeral Service on Thursday in Kilkenny Presbyterian Church at 12noon, followed by burial in Scot's Church Cemetery, Carlow.

 

The late William (Billy) Phelan

Formerly Graigue, Dublin Rd. Urlingford. Peacefully surrounded by her family in the loving care of nurses and staff at the Community Hospital Thurles. Angela, predeceased by her sister Kathleen. Deeply regretted by her dear friend Tom, brothers William and Richard, sisters in law Marie and Mary, brother in law Pat Delaney (Brandra), nieces Patricia, Eileen, Mairead, Sinead and Maura, nephews William, John, David, Timmy and Richard Jnr, uncle William Doheny (Austrailia), aunts Mary, Phylis and Sarah, relatives, work colleagues and a close circle of friends.

Reposing at Ardeen Nursing Home, Thurles on Monday evening from 4pm until 6pm followed by removal to the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles, arriving at 6.30pm. Requiem mass on Tuesday at 11am followed by burial in Fennor Cemertery, Gortnahoe.

The death has taken place of Richard (Dick The Gag)  Kelly, Ballygorey, Mooncoin, Kilkenny on Saturday, November 12, 2016.

The late Patrick (Paddy) Moore

The death has taken place of Patrick (Paddy) Moore, Shopkeeper, Prologue, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, on November 13 2016. At his Residence, following a short illness bravely borne.

Reposing in Brett's Funeral Home, Mullinahone, on Monday, November 14 from 5pm followed by prayers at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday at 9.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Assumption, Callan, at 10am, followed by cremation in The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy, Cork.

Deeply regretted by his relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

The late Alice O’Keeffe

The death has occurred of Alice O'Keeffe (née O'Neill) Smithstown, Thomastown, Kilkenny  peacefully on Saturday at St Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family: husband Willie, daughters Breda O Shea and Margaret Power, sons Michael, Tom and Billy, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother James, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her residence. Funeral prayers at 6.30 pm on Monday evening, followed by removal at 7 pm to The Church of the Assumption, Thomastown. Requiem Mass at 11 am on Tuesday morning with interment in St Marys New Cemetery Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
