'Christmas on the Hill' begins

The Festive season kicks off this Friday at Cillin Hill with the opening of 'Christmas on the Hill' featuring Kilkenny on Ice, The Hub and Nore Valley Christmas Experience.

The Event brings together an amazing array of activities to make this Christmas a magnificent experience for all the family. Whether you want to browse through the bespoke Christmas Market or experience the magic of Santa’s Grotto, make festive ginger bread men with Mrs. Claus and the Elves or see the animals in a live nativity crib. To top it all off why not feel the rush of a 30mtr Ice Slide and 600sqr metrr real Ice Rink or try your skills on the Rodeo Reindeer and Bungee Trampolines.

To mark the opening of Christmas on the Hill, Kilkenny on Ice are donating all the proceeds from the Ice Skating Rink for this Friday to Temple St Children’s Hospital. They are offering a special rate of €5 for skating sessions on this Friday night and all proceeds will go to Temple St. Santa Claus will be making a special appearance on the night on his very special sleigh and to officially open Christmas on the Hill they are very privileged to have Ms. Jennifer Malone and her family.

Jennifer’s photo consoling Pauric Mahoney went worldwide and was voted GAA sporting picture of the year. They also have a number of other surprise guests attending on Friday night so it is advisable to come early. Proceedings get underway and 7pm sharp and all are welcome.
