The late Johanna Byrne

The death has occurred of Johanna Byrne (née Martin)
56 Fair View, Graiguenamanagh, Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister, sons-in-law, daughters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at her residence from 5:30pm today Sunday. Removal to Duiske Abbey on Tuesday for Mass at 11:00 o'clock followed by burial in Calvary cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:30pm on Monday evening. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care.

The late Desmond Corrigan

The death has occurred of Desmond Corrigan Leugh, Threecastles, Kilkenny and formerly Boyle, Roscommon. Deeply regretted by his wife Patty, daughters Susan, Marion, grandchildren Megan, Matthew, Conor, Kate, sons-in-law, Tom, Thomas, sister Pauline, brothers Peter, Jerry, Vincent, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Monday from 2 o'clock with rosary at 7.30 o'clock. Funeral Prayers on Tuesday at 10.30 o'clock followed by removal to Tulla Church Threecastles, for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to St.Anne's Ward, St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown. House private on Tuesday morning.

The late Mary Maher

The death has occurred of Mary Maher (née Coonan), Shellumsrath, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny / Naas, Kildare. Mary Maher (nee Coonan). Shellumsrath, Kilkenny and late of Rathcoffey, Naas, Co. Kildare. Died on Sunday, the 12th of November, (peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Brigid's Ward,St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown). Beloved wife of the late Jim and much loved mother of John, George and James. She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters-in-law Denise, Ruth and Caroline, grandchildren, sister-in-law Jenny (Walsh), nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home from 5p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 14th) with Funeral Prayers at 6.30p.m. followed by removal to St. Mary's Cathedral. Funeral on Wednesday after 11a.m. Requiem Mass to Foulkstown Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Alzheimer's Society.

The late Ann (Nano) O'Neill

The death has occurred of Ann (Nano) O'Neill, (née Emery), late of Assumption Place, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny peacefully, in the loving care of Anne and the staff at Drakelands House Nursing Home, Ann (Nano). Beloved wife of the late Peter. Sadly missed by her sister Breda (Landers), niece Anita (O'Driscoll), nephews Noel (Stan Landers), Pat (Griffin) and their wives Bernie and Maura, grand nephews and nieces, great grandnephews and nieces, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home from 5 o'clock on Monday with Funeral Prayers at 6.15 o'clock followed by removal to St. John's Church. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 10.30 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery.

The late Liam Tobin

The death has occurred of Liam Tobin,  Chapel View, Mooncoin, Kilkenny / Mooncoin, Waterford. Removal from University Hospital Waterford, on Tuesday at 6oc to Mooncoin Church, Mooncoin, Co Kilkenny, via Wateford. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11.00oc followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ballygunner, Waterford. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Solas Centre, Waterford.

The late Paddy Phelan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Phelan, Stephen Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny on Friday the 10th of November (peacefully) at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. He will be sadly missed by his sister Noeleen (Quinlan), brothers Danny (Denmark) and Timmy (Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow), brother-in-law Mick, sisters-in-law Geraldine, Mary and Lene, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Hehir's Funeral Home from 5.30p.m. on Monday (Nov. 13th) with Funeral Prayers at 6.30p.m. followed by removal to St. Mary's Cathedral. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11a.m. followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery (via Stephen Street).

The late Sr Catherine Grainger

The death has occurred of Sr. Catherine Grainger, Convent of Mercy, Callan and late of St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and Lissarda, Co. Cork, peacefully on Friday, 10th November 2017, in the loving care of Sarah and staff at Strathmore Lodge Nursing Home, Callan. Predeceased by her sisters, Sr. Ann and Sheila, her brothers Henry, Thomas and Patrick. Deeply regretted by her devoted nephew Gerard, his wife Mary, grandniece and grandnephews, her many relations, friends and her Mercy Community. Reposing in the Convent Chapel, Callan with Evening Prayer on Saturday at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1pm followed by burial in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.

The late Mary Maddock

The death has occurred of Mary Maddock (née Whelan), formerly of Marian Place, Bennettsbridge, Kilkenny and Pairc Mhuire, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow) 10th November 2017, peacefully, in the loving care of Bridget and the staff at Gowran Abbey Nursing Home, Mary, beloved wife of the late John (ex Mahon and McPhillips), much loved mother of Geraldine, Pat, Clare and John, sadly missed by her family, son-in-law Barry, daughters-in-law Catherine and Fiona, grandchildren Nicola, Alan, Killian, Eoin, Niamh, Aoife and Cian, niece, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral arriving at St. Bennett's Church, Bennettsbridge on Sunday (12th November) for Requiem Mass at 12 o'clock. Interment afterwards in Foulkstown Cemetery, Kilkenny. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

The death has occurred of Nicholas (Nicky) Martin
Haggart, Glenmore, Kilkenny on 10th November 2017. Nicholas (Nicky) in his 90th year beloved husband of the late Ellen, loving father of Bridget, Henry, Helen and the late Mary. Depply regretted by his loving family sons-in-law Walter, Willie and Michael, grandchildren, great-granchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 Reposing at his residence from 3pm tomorrow, Saturday, 11th November, with rosary at 8.30pm. Funeral to arrive at St. James' Church, Glenmore for 11am Requiem Mass on Sunday, 12th November, with burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Glenmore.
