THE GLAMOUROUS wives of hurling legends and nine times All-Ireland medallists Henry Shefflin and Noel Hickey – will put their fashion sense to good use this month in aid of a cause close to their hearts.
The stylish GAA wives will be the judges of the Pauls Most Appropriately Dressed Lady competition at the inaugural Kilkenny Senior Hurlers Family Race Day, which takes place at Gowran Park on March 23.
The Kilkenny Senior Hurling Team and the Liam McCarthy Cup will be in attendance at the race day – a fundraiser for the senior hurlers – with entertainment provided by The Kilkenny’s and a designated kids play area assigned for what organisers are describing as “a great family day out”.
