The 18-year-old from Bennettsbridge wowed the judges at Kilkenny Fashion Week last year and as a result won a prestigious award at the Grafton Academy.

Last week the former Loretto student featured the national newspapers after she designed and made her own Debs dress. This week she started her studies in fashion design in the Limerick School of Art and Design and has been bowled over by the positive reaction she has received from designing her own debs dress. The model, who is on the books of First Options Modelling Agency has wanted to work in the fashion world since she was in Transition Year. “I did my work experience with miliner Rebekah Patterson and I got the bug,” she said.

Grace describes her style as a mix of classic and delicate with a boyish feel. “I was surprised by the reaction that my dress got. I really appreciate the chance I got through winning the Kilkenny Fashion Week scholarship and I hope to continue on to study a Masters when I finish my degree in Limerick,” she said.
