Anocht, Kilkenny Design Centre’s evening restaurant, has been chosen by Ireland’s leading food writer Georgina Campbell to feature in a new interactive map.

It is just another accolade for the wonderful restaurant attached to boutique store, Kilkenny Design Centre, straight across the road from the main entrance to Kilkenny Castle and part of the Kilkrnny castle Courtyard.

This latest project led by Bord Bia will help customer‘s easily locate the 65 Irish restaurants that are championing local suppliers and ingredients.

The evening menu at Anocht has been inspired by a wealth of artisan producers.

Kerry mountain lamb, wild monkfish tail and Paddy White’s sirloin steak all feature on head chef Rory Nolan’s menus.

While locally produced, Highbank gin, cider, and apple syrup enhance the cocktail menu.

“Promoting Irish product, in our shops and restaurants, has always been what we are about. It’s fantastic that this has now been recognised and we are so pleased to be included,” said Kathleen Moran, Managing Director at Kilkenny Design Centre.

Anocht is open every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Bank Holiday Sunday 5.30pm until late, with extended opening hours this week, during Kilkenny Arts Festival. Anocht’s current menus available at: www.kilkennydesign.com
