Course to help you trace a family history

ONE of Ormonde College’s most popular evening courses returns this autumn. The nine week programme on “Researching Your Own Family’s History” history at the college starts on Tuesday, September 27 and enrolment is on Monday, September 19 at Kilkenny City Vocational School, New Street between 7.30 and 8.30pm.

Run by the hugely experienced lecturer on family history, Pat Nolan it will empower you to undertake your own family research programme. It will introduce you to documents records, and especially the methods to be successful. The hands on course will include a field trip to Dublin visiting the various repositories in the capital.
