The daughter of all conquering champion thoroughbred, See The Stars, was sent to the December Sales in Newmarket and caused a stir when she entered the ring. It marks a huge success for Norelands Stud, adjacent to Mount Juliet which is owned by Mr Harry McCalmont, whose family owned Mount Juliet for a number of generations.

The daughter of the mare, Ecoutila was born at Norelands and grazed the grass paddocks there before going to the sales. And a colt by Sea The Stars also bred from a mare at Norelands and born there made £200,000 sterling. The prices helped Norelands which is run by Meath man, Matt Gilsenan to third place in the list of vendors at the prestigious sales which attracts breeders, owners and buyers from around the globe.
