Having just celebrated its first birthday, the Good Shepherd Centre’s Men’s Shed is now offering to carry out handy-work in the community.

Known as “Men’s Shed Helping Hands,” the idea is that the members are available to carry out some handy work – i.e. mowing the lawn, putting up shelves, painting a door etc. – for people in the community, especially elderly people and those living alone. In return the individual can give a donation to the Men’s Shed.

The aim is to raise money for the Men’s Shed while also helping people in the community.
