St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny is holding their annual remembrance Service at St. Fiachra’s Catholic Church, Loughboy, Kilkenny on Tuesday, April 9 at 7.30pm.

The Service gives parents, families, staff and parishioners an opportunity to remember those babies who died by miscarriage or stillbirth either in hospital or at home. There are over 2,000 births at St. Lukes Hospital annually but sadly many of these babies do not survive the pregnancy and/or the delivery. This Service allows people to remember these babies in a very special way. Everyone is welcome, especially children. Refreshments will be served afterwards. This Service is being organised by the End of Life Care Committee as part of the hospital’s commitment to improving End-of-Life care for our patients and their families.
