Kilkenny hurling legend Pa Dillon dies

Kilkenny hurling legend Pa Dillon has died.

Kilkenny hurling legend Pa Dillon has died.

Mr Dillon passed away earlier today, Friday. A real legend of the game he won three all-Ireland medals in the sixties with the great Kilkenny team of that era.

A native of Freshford, he was highly respected amongst his colleagues and peers in hurling. A noted full back, Kilkenny at present is in shock at the passing of a giant of the game.

He was honoured two years ago with a ‘This is Your Life’ special in his home village which attracted such greats of the game as Eddie Keher of Kilkenny and Jimmy Doyle of Tipperary.
