Send-off for our troops going to Lebanon

The 105th infantry battalion from James Stephens Military Barracks, Kilkenny will be reviewed by the Minister for Justice and Defence, Alan Shatter on Tuesday, November 8 in the grounds of Kilkenny Castle before the battalion departs for its tour of duty in the Lebanon.

The spectacle commences at 3pm in the grounds as the UNIFIL battalion puts its final preparations in place for its departure on November 17 and November 24.
