Gardai seize e1.8 million in Kilkenny drugs find at Gowran

GARDAI recovered drugs with an estimated street value of E1.8 million following a raid on a house outside Gowran village, County Kilkenny yesterday afternoon writes Sean Keane.

A large quantity of cannabis and cocaine was found after a search in what was a planned raid.

Two men, both from Kilkenny were arrested at the scene, and are being detained at Thomastown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. Investigations into the seizure are continuing.
