Bruce Springsteen arrived into Kilkenny yesterday, and took some time to enjoy his day off with a spot of bowling.

Bruce Springsteen arrived into Kilkenny yesterday, and took some time to enjoy his day off with a spot of bowling.

The American superstar will play two mega gigs in Nowlan Park on Saturday and Sunday, but yesterday he was content to knock over some pins in K-Bowl, which was closed off to others for the private party. His movements had been kept very hush-hush; K-Bowl were not aware that Springsteen himself would be part of the entourage right up until he arrived.

When he left the building, around 50 people had gathered outside, with more arriving as word spread. He was happy to sign autographs and pose for pictures with fans, before departing in a black SUV.
