A KILKENNY primary school has expressed its gratitude to two local businesses who provided assistance with the sale of goods to raise vital funds for the school.

Church Hill National School, in Cuffesgrange, wishes to say a special thanks to Hi-Spec Engineering Ltd, in Bagenalstown, and Comerford’s Garage in Ballycallan for helping them with the recent fundraising activity.

Comerford’s Garage assisted in the sale of a Hi-Spec vacuum tanker, which Hi-Spec had heavily discounted. This allowed a donation of E1500 from the sale of the machine to be made to the school.

The machine was bought by Callan businessman Eamonn Maher. The school would like to thank everyone involved with the proceedings.
