Laps for Leukaemia

A juvenile player from Freebooters FC and James Stephens GAA club has been diagnosed with Leukaemia. There will be a benefit walk on Sunday starting at 2.30pm. The walk will start from James Stephens GAA club in Larchfield and proceed to the Castle Park for a few laps and finish at James Stephens GAA club. The total distance is 5 kilometres. Quite a number of people have kindly agreed to do the walk and seek sponsorship for this worthy cause. Those who are interested in completing the walk are welcome, and are asked to make a small donation of their choice on the day, if they have not already done so. Refreshments will be served in James Stephens GAA club after the walk. All are welcome.
