KCLR make gains in listenership

KCLR 96 FM the local radio station for Carlow and Kilkenny has made listenership gains according to the latest independent JNLR/IPSOS MRBI radio listenership survey. KCLR is clearly the Number 1 Station in Carlow and Kilkenny with 67,000 listeners tuning in every week, according to the survey.

KCLR’s weekly listenership – the figure which measures the number of people who tune into the station on a weekly basis - has now increased by a further 10% over RTE 1, with KCLR showing 29,000 more listeners every week than the national broadcaster and a market share which is 37%*, reflecting huge listenership loyalty. KCLR also has the number 1 market share across Leinster.
