Magic fund raising night for Home Care

ONE FOR EVERYONE IN THE AUDIENCE - takes on a new meaning on Thursday night in Langtons at the Fundraiser in aid of the Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team.

ONE FOR EVERYONE IN THE AUDIENCE - takes on a new meaning on Thursday night in Langtons at the Fundraiser in aid of the Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team.

A voucher has been donated by Peter Marks; Kilkenny City Tours, Specsavers and James McDermott Dentist for everyone who attends on the night. Also every Lady gets a flower as donated by Flowers by Lucy and everyone gets a truffle as donated by Mr. Simms Olde Sweet Shop in Market Cross.

This event is in its third year and over the past two years has raised €26,500 which goes to the Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team who do tremendous work in assisting terminally ill patients. This night wouldn’t be possible without the sponsorship from Signiatec and Pinewood Healthcare. The organisers have also received donations from M & A Coaches; Connollys Red Mills; KBK Gun Club.

The night consists of a four course meal in Langtons, Band - The Marble City Sounds and DJ - Pat Treacy. Tickets were priced at €30 and thankfully have all been sold out for a few weeks.Brendan Hennessy is the MC for the night and Andy O’Keeffe is the Auctioneer. Fast Lane Audio Visual are going to light up Langtons.

The Heineken Cup, Liam McCarthy and the Tom Walsh Cups will be present on the night.

There are fantastic items for auction on the night and loads of spot prizes, all of which have been kindly donated.
